More and more people all around the world have been speaking up about animal abuse and we want to recognize them.  Here are 10 Celebrities Taking A Stand Against Animal Cruelty!
Jon Stewart
You may know him as the prior host of the Daily Show, where he has shared his thoughts on animal cruelty and being kind to animals. Reports are that he bought a farm in New Jersey and is using it as an animal sanctuary. Read more about Jon Stewart on PETA.

This amazing singer has never been afraid to share her views on the well-being of animals! She has been a lead voice for boycotting Australian Wool and against KFC's animal abuse.
Ellen DeGeneres
She speaks up on her TV talk show about animal rights quite often, was named PETA's Woman of the Year in 2009 and donated 200,000 meals to shelter animals.
Ricky Gervais
You may have seen the anti-hunting and anti-cruelty tweets from this English comedian, or you may have seen the video of him in tears, calling out to all to pay more attention and realize the cruelty they are causing to animals.
Kaley Cuoco
She is the girl of The Big Bang Theory television show and a spokesperson for a Humane Society advertisement discussing the horrors of seal hunting.  Kaley also is an animal rescue advocate
Paul McCartney
Former band member of The Beatles, Paul has been a vegetarian for over 40 years, even creating Meat Free Mondays.  He helped advocate for abused elephants and has a powerful video If Slaughter Houses Had Glass Walls.

This well-known journalist has a whole dedicated section of his site to animal rights, plus has worked with PETA on factory farming.

This singer is really serious about animal welfare- she promotes cruelty-free in makeup and skincare products and was named the first Humane Society Global Ambassador for Animals.
Ian Somerhalder
This actor is best known for his role in The Vampire Diaries. He is working on building the ISF Animal Sanctuary where children with behavioral issues can work alongside animals, which has been shown to be extremely therapeutic, and speaks up about saving dogs from dogfighting.
Betty White
This "Golden Girls" actress has worked with the Morris Animal Foundation since 1971 and founded the Wildlife Rapid Response Fund which helps animals in natural disasters.
